I am on a Windows computer and am having difficulty with the live stream.
Please make sure you have the latest versions of Windows Media Player and iTunes by clicking on these links. These programs are free. Window Users have the option to listen through Windows Media Player or iTunes when we are doing a live stream. Have your Internet Explorer Temporary Internet Files cache set to at least 150 MB (located under Tools > Internet Options > Settings) and also clear your Browsing History cache then reopen Explorer. If you still have difficulties with the live stream, please contact our streaming provider Warp Radio.
I am on a MAC computer and am having difficulty with the live stream.
Most MAC computers will utilize iTunes for live streams. If you experience difficulty, try clearing the cache in Safari (located under Safari > Empty Cache) then reopen Safari.
If you are still having difficulty, you can check to see that iTunes is the default player for our .m3u streaming file (Find the .m3u file in your Downloads folder located under USERS>Home icon>Downloads. Then highlight .m3u file in your Downloads folder and click on the "More Info" button (or hold down Control key and click on file and choose Get Info). This will open a new pop up window where you can click on Open with: and change the default application to open the file with iTunes, then click the button "Change All") This should allow our live stream to be heard through iTunes. (If you are still having difficulty, go to System Preferences, then under Internet & Network click on Quick Time, then go to the Advanced tab, then click on MIME button and click on Use Defaults.)
I would like to download an archived broadcast from the Listening Room and the Download link does not work.
To download on Windows in Internet Explorer: Right click on Download link, choose "Save Target as" saving to desktop or other location, then open file with Windows Media Player.
To download on MACs in Safari: Hold down Control key, click on Download link, then lift your finger off the Control key and click on "Download Linked File as" saving the file to the desktop or other location, then open file with media player. (For adding broadcast file to iTunes please see http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1473#2)
I would like to listen to the Live Streaming and Past Broadcasts on my iPhone/iPad.
Currently Adobe Flash cannot be directly installed on iPhones. However if you go to the iTunes App Store, and download the Puffin browser, then open Puffin as your browser instead of Safari, you can listen to our Live Stream and Past Broadcasts on your iPhone.
Again, please make sure you have the latest versions of Windows Media Player and iTunes by clicking on these links. If you still have difficulties with the live stream, please contact our streaming provider Warp Radio. If you still have difficulty please contact us.
